Arthur Aguiar faces eviction action for collection of R$ 166 thousand in São Paulo

The case involving the BBB 22 champion has reached the São Paulo courts. Understand what the company charges, what has been decided so far and how Arthur Aguiar responded.
Comadres, a dispute over the rent of an apartment in Pinheiros, in the West Zone of São Paulo, took the name of Arthur Aguiar to court. The rental company charges R$ 166,028.30 for payments that it claims are overdue. The actor disputes the charge and says he will present his version and documents in the process.
The lawsuit was filed on September 4, 2026 to the 4th Civil Court of Pinheiros. According to the information released about the contract, Arthur rented the property in May 2025, with a term scheduled until November 2027. The monthly payment would be R$ 59,340, including rent, condominium, property tax and services such as water, energy, internet, laundry and breakfast.
In the lawsuit, the rental company states that the problems with payments began in May of this year. The company also reports attempts to reach an agreement with the actor, but says that the situation has not been resolved. The amount charged corresponds to three months of payments pointed out as overdue. This is the version of the rental company, contested by Arthur.
Judge Diego Ferreira Mendes granted an eviction injunction. The decision provides 15 days for Arthur to leave the property voluntarily after being summoned. Within that same period, he could avoid leaving by paying the required amount in full. In the last update consulted, however, the order had not yet begun to take effect: the rental company needed to collect court fees and deposit a bond. There is no confirmation that the actor has been removed from the apartment.
Through the advisory, Arthur stated that the information released does not correspond to the reality of the facts. He disputes the values, deadlines and circumstances reported by the rental company and informed that he will present the relevant documents through legal channels.
And it is here, comadres, that it is worth following the next steps: there is a charge, an injunction and a challenge from the actor. The decision is provisional, and the dispute will still be examined by the courts.
