Comadre Joanna Maria removes the gallbladder in preventive surgery

Comadre, pull out the chair and prepare a prayer full of affection, because when our dear hostess needs care, our great family unites in one chain of love and faith! Our beloved Comadre Joanna Maria underwent a surgical procedure last Monday, October 26, for the complete removal of the gallbladder.
The tranquility and smile on the face of our communicator are the result of a conscious and very well-guided choice, comadre! Joanna Maria had already been living with the diagnosis of gallstones for four years. In the last six months, however, she started to have a much more rigorous and detailed clinical follow-up when starting to use the medication tirzepatide. Faced with consultations with several medical specialists and calmly evaluating the health condition, our comadre preferred to act preventively, choosing to remove the organ before the gallstone could cause acute pain, severe inflammation or any unwanted emergency.

Joanna's husband, Icelandic Ólafur Gíslason, was enjoying a vacation in his homeland, Iceland, but he didn't think twice: as soon as the date of the operation was set, he anticipated his return to Brazil to hold his wife's hand and accompany her closely throughout the hospital stay. The presence of her husband brought even more peace and serenity to the pre and postoperative period. The surgery, performed on Monday (26), took place with total tranquility and absolute success at the hands of the medical team. Our comadre is already in the room, recovering very well, willing and expected to be discharged from the hospital in the next few hours to complete her rest in the peace of her home. With renewed health and free of worries about the gallbladder, in a very short time she will be back in charge of our conversations, full of energy and with that contagious joy that brightens our mornings!
It's that moment when we breathe a sigh of relief and thank God for everything having worked out so well, right comadre? Taking care of the body responsibly and having those who truly love us around makes any recovery light and full of hope!
And you, comadre? Have you left your message of affection and quick recovery for our Joanna Maria or have you also had this surgery and know how wonderful the relief is?
