Ex-BBB Jordana breaks her silence on racial quotas controversy
Comadre... this subject gave something to talk about — and now the answer has come! Former BBB Jordana Morais finally spoke out about the controversy involving the misuse of racial quotas, which resurfaced as soon as she entered BBB 26.
For those who didn't follow, the case happened back in 2015, when Jordana signed up for a contest at the Federal District Court of Justice using the quota for black and brown people. As soon as the public found out, the repercussion was immediate — and heavy. She even earned a nickname on the networks: "Negajô", used in an ironic way.
Now, already out of the reality, Jordana decided to open the game. In an interview, she acknowledged that she made a mistake and explained that, at the time, she did not have the maturity to understand the seriousness of the situation.
"I was 19 years old, I didn't have the necessary knowledge. Today I understand," she said.
She also tried to explain her perception at that moment, saying that, during her childhood, she did not see herself being treated as a white woman, which influenced her decision at the time.
But, bedpan... she was direct in assuming that she would not repeat the attitude. "Today I understand the seriousness of it all, the responsibility. I wouldn't do it again," she declared.
The former BBB also said that she didn't even remember the episode until everything came up again during the program, and ended with a learning tone: she recognized the mistake and said that she evolved with the situation.
Now there's that reflection... there are things that time even passes, but when it comes back, it comes back with everything — even more so when it involves such serious topics...
