Selma Blair arrested after assaulting crew members in flight, trying to open plane door and attacking police officers

Comadre, pull out the chair and hold this coffee very firmly, because the scare in the air was gigantic and the outcome ended in a case of police and hospitalization! The American actress Selma Blair, immortalized in movie classics such as Legally Blonde, Cruel Intentions and Hellboy, caused moments of pure terror aboard a commercial flight and ended up arrested after assaulting crew members, police officers and even a nurse!
The air chaos happened aboard a Delta Airlines flight that had John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York as its final destination. According to reports and audios obtained by the authorities, the artist would have gone into an uncontrolled outbreak in mid-flight and tried to open the door of the aircraft while the plane was still in the air. When restrained by the crew to avoid a tragedy, Selma went to physical violence: she punched one of the flight attendants and bit another crew member hard, causing visible injuries that included lacerations and a bloody nose. Given the severity of the confusion, the actress hit her own head against one of the cabin bulkheads and had to be completely immobilized with safety locks until the moment of landing.
As soon as the aircraft touched down on US soil, police teams from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey were already waiting to make the arrest. Recordings made by passengers recorded Selma getting off the aircraft screaming in despair as alarms sounded on the runway. Two crew members reported injuries and one of them needed immediate hospital help. The fury, however, did not stop there: inside the ambulance on the way to the health unit, the actress delivered repeated kicks to the head of a police officer and, upon admission to the hospital, physically assaulted a nurse on duty, who decided to file a formal complaint. Because of the attacks after landing, the State formalized two charges of assault against Blair, while the case remains under rigorous investigation by the FBI.
In an official statement, Selma Blair's representatives claimed that the star suffered a serious "medical emergency" on board that would have triggered all the violent behavior, noting that she received urgent clinical care and remains hospitalized in stable condition under physical and psychological observation. On the other hand, a Delta Airlines spokesperson reinforced the company's zero tolerance against any act of disorder that threatens the integrity of passengers and employees, pointing out that it still has no formal records in internal reports about the attempt to open the door. It is worth remembering that this is not the first air crisis for the artist, who had already been removed from an aircraft on a stretcher in 2016 after a similar episode.
It's one of those sad and scary situations at the same time, right comadre? Traveling by plane already leaves many people with their hearts in their hands, and witnessing a lack of control of this proportion at thousands of meters of altitude is a nightmare that no one deserves to face!
And you, comadre? Have you ever been scared or badly troubled inside a plane or would you lose control in a panic situation like this?
