Tragedy interrupts love story, but Virginia's gesture brings support to the couple's daughter

Comadre, in the midst of the pain of a loss that is difficult to understand, a promise brought a little hope: Virginia Fonseca said that she will join the family so that the couple's daughter is never helpless.
A couple united in life and faith
A tragedy shook family, friends, church brothers and people close to influencer Virginia Fonseca. Veteran Lieutenant of the Military Police of Goiás Rogério Camilo Ramos, 53, and his wife, Paulla Regina Rodarte Camilo, 43, died after a motorcycle accident that occurred on the morning of Sunday, September 13, on BR-060, in Guapó, Goiás.
Rogério was known as Camilo and worked in the private security of Virginia's family. But his story went far beyond the function performed alongside the businesswoman.
He dedicated part of his life to the Military Police of Goiás, had moved to the reserve just over two months before the accident and also worked as a pastor. Paulla shared the religious mission with her husband. Together, the two carried out pastoral work at the Living in Christ Church, in Jardim Vera Cruz 1, in Goiânia.
The couple leaves a daughter who is only 12 years old.
How the accident happened
Rogério and Paulla were riding a motorcycle with a group of motorcyclists along BR-060. The accident occurred near kilometer 201, southbound, at the exit to Guapó.
According to initial information published by local media, the motorcycle left the road and hit a tree. Some reports mentioned the existence of an unevenness in the stretch, but this possible circumstance has not yet been officially confirmed as the cause of the accident.
The concessionaire Rota Verde Goiás, responsible for the highway, reported that it received the call at 8:35 am. Rogério died on the spot. Paulla still had vital signs when the teams arrived, but suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest. The rescuers performed resuscitation maneuvers with the support of the Fire Department, but she also did not resist.
The Federal Highway Police was at the scene. According to the concessionaire, the cause and dynamics of the accident will still be determined by forensics. Metropolis
Who was Rogério Camilo Ramos?
Born on May 31, 1973, Rogério built a life linked to the act of protecting.
In the Military Police, he served the population of Goiás. Outside the corporation, he worked as a security guard and was seen by Virginia's family as someone helpful, careful and reliable.
As a pastor, he shared with Paulla a routine dedicated to faith and welcoming other people. Rogério also worked as a manager at the Brilhante Condomínio Clube, in Residencial Eldorado.
The Military Police of Goiás published an official note lamenting the death of the veteran lieutenant and his wife. In the tribute, the corporation highlighted that the military's trajectory will remain recorded in his history and in the memory of those who lived with him.
The note ended with a verse from 2 Timothy:
"I fought the good fight, I finished my career and kept the faith."
The tribute summarizes the different missions assumed by Rogério throughout his life: policeman, security, pastor, husband and father. Goiás Military Police
Paulla shared her husband's mission
Paulla should not be remembered only as "the wife of Virginia's security guard". She also had her own story of faith, dedication to family and religious work.
Alongside Rogério, she served as pastor at the Living in Christ Church. The loss of the couple led the institution to cancel the Holy Supper service that would take place on Sunday.
The two shared family life, faith and service to the community. They left together and left their teenage daughter as their greatest legacy.
Virginia received the news far from Brazil
Virginia was in Madrid when she learned of the accident. The influencer said that Rogério had recently been with her family in São Paulo and worked on the safety of her children.
In her first manifestation, she explained that she waited for all family members to be notified before publishing the tribute. Virginia stated that she had not been able to do anything else since she received the news and that she was heartbroken.
The businesswoman also reflected on the fragility of existence:
"Life is, in fact, a breath."
In another publication, Virginia said that her "penny had not yet dropped". She described Rogério as a helpful man and thanked him for the care dedicated to his family.
"His presence was a safe haven"
In the tribute, Virginia highlighted that Camilo's work was not limited to physical protection. For her, the security guard conveyed wisdom, purity, affection and tranquility.
The influencer stated that his presence was a "safe haven" and that his memory would remain alive in the family's hearts.
Poliana Rocha also spoke. She thanked Rogério for taking care of his family with such zeal and declared that his dedication will continue to be cherished.
The demonstrations show that Rogério was not seen only as an employee. He had earned the trust and affection of the people he protected.
Virginia promises to support the couple's daughter
The most touching moment of Virginia's statement was directed to Rogério and Paulla's daughter.
The businesswoman said she believes that the two will be the girl's guardian angels and made a public promise: to join the family to ensure that she does not feel helpless.
Virginia also said that everyone could count on her "for absolutely everything". CNN Brasil
The statement shows willingness to offer support, but it is important to clarify that Virginia did not inform how this help will happen. Therefore, it is not correct to say that she will legally assume the upbringing of the teenager, pay for her studies or be exclusively responsible for her.
What has been announced so far is a promise of welcome and support together with the girl's family.
A gesture of love in the midst of pain
Bedpan and compadre, no help will be able to replace the presence of a father and a mother. Rogério and Paulla's daughter will face an absence that no words can explain.
But, at times like this, the union of the people around can prevent the pain from being accompanied by abandonment.
The promise made by Virginia does not erase the tragedy, but it adds to it a gesture of humanity: the commitment to remain close when the tributes are over and the routine returns to everyone — except for those who lost their family.
Rogério spent his life protecting people. Now, those who received his care express the desire to protect his daughter.
Perhaps this is one of the most beautiful ways to honor his memory.
A history marked by service
Rogério served as a police officer, worked protecting a family and dedicated part of his journey to pastoral activity. Paulla was by his side in faith, family and religious mission.
The death of the two leaves sadness, questions and a girl who will need a lot of love. It also leaves a network of family, friends, church brothers and people willing to offer support.
May Rogério and Paulla be remembered not only for the tragic way they left, but for the life they built together, for the people they welcomed and for the daughter who will continue to carry the story of the two.
At this moment, more than looking for explanations, it remains to ask God to comfort the girl, her family and all those who lost a friend, a brother in uniform, a pastor, a pastor and a safe haven.
