Xuxa takes Andréa Sorvetão to court, and Conrado shoots: "Vengeful person"
An old friendship, a debt related to a property and public accusations: understand the new chapter of the fight between Xuxa, Andréa Sorvetão and Conrado.
The relationship between Xuxa Meneghel and former paquita Andréa Sorvetão has gained a new and delicate chapter. The presenter went to court to collect reimbursement for expenses related to an apartment located in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
According to information released by the press, the property was given free of charge by Xuxa in January 2020 for Andréa to live with her husband, singer Conrado, and the couple's daughters. The lending contract would last for 48 months.
Although she did not have to pay rent, Andréa would have assumed responsibility for expenses such as condominium, property tax, fire tax, water, electricity and gas.
Charge exceeds R$ 26 thousand
According to the data attributed to the process, ten condominium monthly payments would have been pending, in addition to amounts related to the IPTU, between February 2020 and March 2021.
At the time, the expenses would add up to R$ 16,276.26. Xuxa claims that she had to pay off the debts through the property manager and is now seeking reimbursement. With interest and monetary correction, the amount charged would have reached R$ 26,289.68. It was also reported that there was a partial payment of R$ 1 thousand. Band, Imirante.

Andréa Sorvetão presents her version
The former paquita declared that she was surprised by the news and that, at the time of her statement, she had not yet been formally summoned by the Court nor had she had full access to the process.
Andréa explained that the pending issues arose during the pandemic, a period that she classified as particularly delicate for her family. She also stated that there was an attempt at dialogue before the filing of the lawsuit, but that the parties did not reach an understanding.
In another statement, Andréa said that she would only have become aware of the charge in 2023, after being contacted by the property administrator. According to her, the amount reported at that time would be approximately R$ 13 thousand.
The former paquita said that she will wait for the official summons and the complete analysis of the documents by her lawyers before presenting her defense.
Conrado goes on the attack
Singer Conrado, Andréa's husband, reacted much harsherly. In a video published on social networks, he said that the couple would have tried to pay the pending and reach an agreement about five years ago, but that Xuxa would not have accepted the proposal.
During the outburst, Conrado called the presenter a "bad person" and "vindictive". He also accused Xuxa of using the charge as a kind of trump card against the couple.

Friendship was already shaken
The lawsuit comes after years of estrangement between Xuxa and Andréa. The relationship between the two would have deteriorated publicly from 2021, amid political disagreements and discussions involving a video in which Andréa and Conrado presented themselves as a "straight, traditional and Christian couple".
Andréa was also left out of recent projects that brought together old paquitas, including the documentary and the commemorative tour The Last Show of the Ship. Xuxa has previously stated that her distancing from some people would be related to positions considered prejudiced, while Andréa maintains that the rupture would have been motivated by political differences. Andréa's defense will be able to present its version and contest the amounts after the formal summons. Until the publication of the information consulted, there was no court decision determining the payment of the debt.
Xuxa's press office informed the press that it would not comment on the lawsuit or publicly respond to the accusations made by Conrado.
